**what an amazing testimony from Elder Hallstrom. He is wise beyond his years, and struggles. After the news of our grandfather's passing.**

Dear Momther,
I got the call about Grandpa, and I have to say I was expecting this to be the outcome. Elder Proctor gave me a Priesthood Blessing, and The Comforter has been here the whole time helping me through this trial. The Power of the Atonement is amazing. It is one of the most central doctrines of the Church, but is also the one that is the least understood. I know that Christ suffered this pain for me, and in His infinite love, took the burden upon Himself so I would not have to bear it. On Saturday, I had the privilege of hearing M. Russel Ballard speak to our mission. I heard many things that were meant for me to hear. When I shook his hand, a peace came over me, and I knew that he was and is an Apostle of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and a Prophet, Seer, and Revelator. I remember Elder Ballard urging us to make sure the world knows that we are not 'just another religion.' We are the Kingdom of God on Earth. President Collins has been a great source of comfort to me in these past few days. He seems to be bubbling with knowledge and has such an ingrained testimony that the only times that I have felt 'the burning in the bosom' were when I heard him speak. He said, 'When the storms of life surge around you, look directly into it; don't go off to the left, don't go off to the right; but bow your head and walk straight in." Working hard has blessed me with the capacity to endure crippling obstacles and trials. The Church is true. We are not just another Religion. We are in the Dispensation of the Fulness of Times. Joseph Smith was indeed a Prophet of God. His testimony was sealed with His blood. The Book of Mormon is true. It has shown me that Jesus is The Christ, that God is not an incomprehensible, unknowable being. Eternal truths are meant to be able to be simplified so any and all can understand when teaching and when being taught. The Gospel is Perfect. I seal my testimony in The name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
