Hey Momther!
This week was an interesting one. We had an investigator who we were having a last lesson with (we were dropping him) and he brought up the temple and the ceremonies, and was trying to convince us that it was 'demonic' and 'satanic' etc. Elder Proctor rebuked him for stepping out of the boundaries of acceptable speech on the temple, and into the realm of Blasphemy. I was SO choked at him (the investigator) for bringing it up. But it was also the first time I've had someone try to perform an exorcism on me (with or without the priesthood) but that was kind of funny. He clapped his hands twice during the prayer, and commanded whatever evil was in us to come out. he asked if he could lay hands on us before. we said no. Long story short: it didn't work. but it was funny. We had an investigator at church yesterday. She left after the second hour, (i think it's because members are awkward about talking with people they don't know, and just make it even MORE awkward when all they do is introduce themselves and fizzle out on conversation.) She felt a little bombarded, but she felt the Spirit. I miss y'all so much. I love ya, and i'm working hard. Have fun!
