sorry I haven't e-mailed you yet, the holidays really screwed up our e-mailing schedule. we e-mail at a local library and they were closed on our p-days which both landed on holidays, haha what a coincidence! I'm working hard! (It's hard work too,) I've decided to do a massive study on each of the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ ie. Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost and Enduring to the End. We had a pretty rough lesson last night, which prompted me to start this study. we were teaching a family that we tracted into, and they invited a 'friend' who also happened to be a preacher. It was the most Contentious sit-down lesson I have ever been in. he asked about what happens if there are contradictions between the bible and the Book of Mormon. We said, 'There are none.' to which he replied 'I'm sure we'll find some throughout our discussion.' UGH! honestly i wonder if people understand the meaning of the word 'saved.' saved refers to the resurrection. all of us will be, but Salvation is the condition of and/or limitations of our resurrected body. all will return to God's presence, but how comfortable we will be, and the state of our being in His presence is dependent upon us. I want to be a digger. i want to know the deepest doctrines we have. No, i', not talking about Kolob, or the body temperature of translated beings, i'm talking about faith, repentance, baptism, etc. these doctrines run deep. i want to understand them more fully. i invite y'all to do the same. i love ya! and i'll e-mail again on Monday!
